Applications are now OPEN.
The game will open on December 12th at 12:01AM, so applications posted before 12:01AM on December 11th will all be considered and given acceptance/pending/rejection notices in time for opening day. Applications posted beyond 12:01AM on December 11th will still obviously be considered, but may not receive a notice immediately. Application review should take no more than a week for an application.

Name: Character's name in Western order (First Name, Last Name)
Age: The age or approximate age of your character. Please list chronological age and mental age if necessary, etc.
Canon: What series/movie/book/etc is your character from?
Canon Point: From which point in their canon/history are you pulling your character from? It's okay to be brief as long as you're clear when it is.
Physical Description: Describe your character in a few sentences here, or provide a working image to your character.
Abilities: List your character's non-magical abilities here. Are they logical? Good at soccer? Fast swimmers? Smile in the face of adversity?
Magical Powers: List any magical abilities here that they might have in canon

Personality: One of the most important sections! This will be what the mods use to place your character in a House and what we will use as a base to judge your samples. Be very thorough and in-depth. We want to know how a character acts and why your character acts that way. How do they act when they're alone vs with friends vs people they dislike? What makes them happy? What makes them sad? Are they patient or impatient? How does their personality affect their life and others around them? How do other people tend to perceive your character?

History: Please write out your character's history or provide a link to a detailed wikia. It doesn't have to explain what they did every single day of their lives, so focus on the events that shaped your character. Which events does your character vividly remember?

World: OCs and AUs only. Please describe how your character's world works and how it impacts your character. For AUs, please also describe in detail what makes their world/timeline different than the original version of the character and how the world and their different choices impact the character. Be sure to reflect these things in the personality section and/or samples as well.

First Person Sample: Basically a network sample. First person with [bracket actions]. This should focus on the manner of speech your character uses, giving an example of how they interact with either friends or people they don't know. "I" should be used outside of brackets. It should be long enough to give the mods a feel for your character. There is no minimum word limit, but do give enough text to work with so we can get a feel for your character's voice.

Third Person Sample: This is a prose sample. It should detail the inner workings of your character, how they think and how they feel. There should be minimal dialogue because you're showing us their personality. Do they fidget? What do they think about? Are they different inwardly than how they appear outwardly? There is no minimum word limit, but do give enough text to work with so we can get a feel for your character's thoughts and motivations.
